Buddy Elderly is developed by Melanca BV. We respect your privacy and your right to have your data removed. This page explains how to remove your data and how to request deletion of anything held on our servers.
Buddy Elderly keeps most of your information on your own phone — your first name, your chosen emergency contact, and the app's settings. Your contacts and photos are only ever read on the device and are never uploaded to us. Uninstalling the app removes all of this locally stored data immediately.
Buddy Elderly has no account or login, and we do not keep a lasting history of your conversations on our servers. If you would still like us to delete any information that may have been processed on our servers, send an email to privacy@buddy-company.com with the subject line below:
Subject: Buddy Elderly Data Deletion Request
Include: the first name you set in the app, and the approximate dates you used it, so we can locate any related records.
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Retained records will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required, and no later than 90 days after your request unless a longer retention period is required by law.
